Creating a platform to find and share projects

Our team wanted to design a platform to minimize the activation energy required for students in the Babson, Olin, and Wellesley colleges (BOW) community to collaborate on various projects. From our personal experiences as students at both Babson and Olin, we knew that there currently is no centralized platform for students from all 3 schools to find and share projects. After talking to BOW students, we were able to confirm this problem area and learned about the barriers that BOW students face. We used our findings to design a website that would help foster interschool collaboration and iterated our design to resolve usability issues and increase fidelity. Our final prototype for this project is made in Figma and incorporates our findings from user interviews with the BOW community, design feedback recieve from our peers and professor, and addressing usability issues identified through testing and evaluations.
